“We are honored to have been selected as a North America finalist,” said Michael Simpson, CEO of PAIRIN. “Our team is passionate about impacting the future of work to support every citizen in their path to meaningful work, and we look forward to showcasing our solution at the regional competition” Michael added.

The Inclusive Innovation Challenge (IIC) is the flagship initiative of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy (IDE) who awards over one million dollars in prizes each year to entrepreneurs around the world that are using technology to reinvent the future of work. This program’s overarching goal is to seek to create greater shared prosperity, a grand challenge of our time. The IIC believes that Inclusive Innovation is an economic and moral imperative, and that the key question of our era isn’t what technology is going to do to our economy and society, but what we will do with technology. By identifying and promoting the powerful global community of future of work visionaries, the IIC proactively accelerates the technology-driven solutions enabling greater economic opportunity for working people around the world facing the challenge of rapidly advancing digital progress. The IIC supports entrepreneurs by recognizing and rewarding their technological solutions that are creating greater shared prosperity today.

PAIRIN was founded on the belief that all people have amazing value, but most never have the opportunity to realize their full potential. People are too often put into ill-fitting boxes, told they can’t, won’t and will never be able to attain their dreams. This is something PAIRIN wants to change, and by working across the entire talent pipeline to support paths to employment, PAIRIN is leading the skills-based talent pipeline evolution for education and industry. PAIRIN’s solution was built upon 60 years of research, 18 years of job performance measurement by the founders and was co-designed with partners from public education, industry, foundations and government. The PAIRIN system not only provides a baseline measurement of an individual’s soft skills, but also provides tools to personalize career exploration, job matching and professional development.
